Why do I write?

To remember how things felt, why I once thought a certain way.

As I write these lines, I am 33 years old. I am much further ahead than I was supposed to be and so so behind than I once thought I would be.

I have lived in three different countries and met thousands of people. I have had long, heated discussions and many good conversations. Sometimes I did not fully understand how another person felt. Other times, I learned something from them, about them or about myself.

But I feel that I have forgotten. With some people, I have forgotten how they smiled. With some ideas, I have forgotten why they once seemed so interesting. Human mind is abit weird. People indeed change ideas over time, also the mere fact that my mind is attached to my body and my body so fragile is abit frightening.

This blog is my attempt to reflect and remember. I want to write for the people I have loved and for my future self. It is where I will share my favorite poems, my thoughts on certain discussions, and perhaps some experiences and reflections on them.
